ABOUT

Dunchideock Barton is owned and run by Edward and Heather Ellis, the 5th generation of the Ellis family to live here.

In the past, as well as farming sheep and arable crops, the Ellis family had a shop in Exeter where they sold milk from their milking cows and produce from the farm. They also grew Christmas trees on the hills, selling them in London. Recently, Dunchideock Barton has diversified to provide commercial and industrial space for businesses whilst arable crops and sheep continue to be farmed here.
